Textile Line
Our textile line is our fastest growing line! Thanks to a wonderful mother/son duo that run our entire fabric processes! They are an amazing team and our personal seamstress (Beverly) is amazing - we appreciate them beyond measure! We are proud to now offer:
- Sling Tote Bags - no seam in the bottom, great for teachers, laptops and heavy duty jobs!
- Over the Shoulder Hobo Bags - new for the summer of 2011
This line is especially important to us because it has given us an opportunity to use beautiful fabrics, unique prints, and one of a kind pieces that were headed for the trash --- yeah, that's right--- we rescued "garbage" --- they are usually flawed (not noticeable to our untrained eyes!)--- they may be printed wrong or missing colors (we usually use these pieces for liners!)---they were headed to a burn pile where some companies were going to have to pay a worker to stand and burn 'em up! We love these opportunities -- we can buy remnants and create masterpieces - and you can be the proud owner of a "one-of-a-kind", uniquely designed, bag or book cover that was hand made by an American Worker! Honestly, does it get any better than this? Thank you for keeping American workers employed - we love serving you!
Update: We have discontinued our laundry bag and Bible Book cover line... for a few reasons:
Laundry bags are seasonal, we saw high demands in August for college kids... then the sales dropped to nothing for the next 9 months. If you want one, holler, we will see what we can do. The Bible covers came in 3 sizes that fit 80% of the Bibles on the market (we tried many sizes at first!) but we always seemed to have people needing them 1 inch longer or 3 inches fatter, or 2 inches shorter (you get the point)....
It is our desire to create and maintain a line of products that will keep our store owners in business and not create additional work for them --- for this reason, we have discontinued the Bible covers as well.
