Exclusive Wood Line
My Elegant Clutter has a philosophy that this earth already has enough "stuff" --- we pride ourselves in designing products from scraps, rejects, leftovers, things that other people have tossed aside.... and at times, we have the honor of 'rescuing' items to add to our line.... this would explain how we created our exclusive wood line.
We know that there is beauty in the eye of the beholder, we understand that there is a testimony to each of us and this holds true for our wooden servant pieces. You will love the flat nails that have been strapped with a variety of materials and you will be amazed at the unique pieces of wood that have been delicately selected because of their unusual character. Each piece is coated in 3 layers of lacquer to seal out any pollen or dust. This process causes some wood to shine, some to change colors and some to simply stay the same, with the lacquer soaking into the grain.
Isn't it a wonderful thought to know that our wooden pieces used to be a tall, majestic tree that provided shade and shelter, then fell to the ground at some point and still served a purpose by guarding and protecting a variety of wildlife..... and now, in its final stage of life, it will find its destiny with you.
